We've heard it time and time again, "the more organized your are the more fish you'll catch". True? You can be the judge but look at it this way, the more organized you are and know where everything is, the more time you'll spend with your line in the water. You gotta believe that's true.

One way to get more organized on your boat is the new HookUmGood Bait Buoy Tackle Organizer. This keeps a nice roll of leaders, pliers, knife and your choice of scents all in one convenient location.

You can permanently mount the organizer by drilling 4 holes which line up to the attached bracket, or you may install on any rail within a matter of minutes. Four bolts tightened down by an allen wrench does the trick and literally took less than 2 minutes to install. This is great for installing on your saltwater boat as I did, or even your pontoon boat! Your sled or drift boat probably doesn't have railing so with the attached bracket you can decide how you want to mount it.

The leader rolls are made of a sponge like material that the hooks sink into and hold until you remove them. Changing out the rolls is a snap. Just pull the release knob on the side of the roll, slide the rod out, remove the old roll, insert the new roll, slide the rod back in and snap it in place. You're fishing again.

Not only functional, it's a good look accessory for the boat. I'd recommend getting a few rolls so you can change them out. Keep separate rolls for different kinds of fishing, different size hooks, etc. Although the Bait Buoy rolls do fit best and are designed to work with the tackle organizer, the "old style" rolls work just fine as well, just make sure they're the narrow rolls and cut to the same size so they fit properly.
